Given the global concerns regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), I wanted to personally reach out and share the extra precautions Concept Hotels is taking to keep our guests and team members safe and allow them to keep enjoying their Xperience at all of our hotels with confidence.
We are carefully monitoring the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and state and local health organizations on a daily basis. Accordingly, we have further elevated our stringent cleaning and sanitation protocol. Here are some examples of what we are doing:
We have added multiple, special commercial grade multi-surface cleaners and DISINFECTANTS during routine cleaning of ALL the areas in our hotels. In guestrooms, we are paying particular attention to frequently handled items like television remote controls, toilet flush handles, door handles, water faucet handles, amongst many other items.
We have enhanced our deep cleaning process & are sanitizing all high touch areas in our public spaces (i.e lobby doors, tables and chairs, elevator buttons, coffee/tea/water service stations, ice and vending machines, etc.) EVERY TWO HOURS. Pens at the front desk and guest key cards are getting cleaned with disinfectant on a consistent basis.
We have increased the deployment of anti-bacterial hand sanitizers within our public areas and back of the house for our team members.
We have educated our staff on COVID-19 preventative measures as well as symptoms.
We have posted signage to remind guests and team members to wash hands with soap and
water frequently for at least 20 seconds which the CDD recommends as the most effective
We have urged all staff members to stay home at the slightest hint of illness to prevent the
spread of germs.
There is no denying that COVID-19 has had an impact on our communities. Rest assured, Concept Hotels will continue monitoring the recommendations of governmental health agencies and local health organizations and will take the proper precautions as this situation evolves.
